Amazon.com Product Description
The adidas Men's Striker Short will keep you cool and comfortable, no matter how hard you play. The pull-on short is made from ClimaLite fabric that is designed to wick away moisture from your skin. The contrast color piping provides a dash of flair, while the elastic waist comes with a drawstring cord for a custom fit. The stylish short looks great on and off the soccer pitch. It's machine washable and dries quickly on the lowest dryer setting so you'll always be ready for your next match.

About adidas
The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has long become reality, and his corporate philosophy the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Adi Dassler's aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War.

The adidas name dates back to 1948, deriving from the first two syllables of Adi Dassler's first and last name. One year later, Adi Dassler registered the Three Stripes as a trademark. After a period spanning almost 70 years, the Dassler Family withdrew from the company in 1989, and the enterprise was transformed into a corporation ("Aktiengesellschaft"). French-born Robert Louis-Dreyfus was Chairman of the Executive Board from April 1993 to March 2001. It was he who initiated adidas' flotation on the stock market in November 1995. adidas--a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport around the globe. Today, the adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.

Pro: Very nice product, confortable, it really keeps you dry, very light and thin, but also solid.
Cons: It has no pocket

5 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and comfortable   July 17, 2009

I run at least 25 miles per week. These shorts are inexpensive, lightweight, fit well and perfect for working out. Probably not the best choice for swimming. Take the money you save on these shorts and put it into better underwear like the CK Tech Actives. Get black or navy shorts and black CK undies and you won't have any see through issues. I think it is a really comfortable combination.

5 out of 5 stars What can you say about shorts?   June 19, 2008

I bought these shorts for soccer because they were not too long and did not have pockets. Since soccer season is over they have become running shorts. They are a good length for running but a little too short for wearing out and about. The XL size fit as expected and the material quality was good.

5 out of 5 stars Very nice shorts especially for the gym   October 7, 2008

I bought these shorts because of the brand and the price. I go to the gym with these shorts and they are wonderful because they could dry up easily and air gets through so skin breathes.

These shorts are extremely thin, offer exceptional comfort and fit really well. They are very thin (you might want to wear something under) also reduce the sweating under heavy excercise by allowing optimal ventilation. Highly recommended
